Part of Kyle's grad school program is a 2 week foreign residency. The program goes someplace different every year. Typically they go somewhere in Asia. This year however, they are going to Europe. Kyle will be spending a week in Prague Czech Republic, and a week in Munich Germany.
He leaves in about 2 and a half hours to drive to the cities. Where he will be taking a 7:10 flight to Amsterdam where he will then catch a connecting flight to Prague. He will arrive at about 1:30 PM local time (which is about 7 hours ahead of central time). After checking in he and his classmates are scheduled for a guided walking tour of Prague of the historical center of Prague. This includes (among other things):
Prague Old Town Square
The Charles Bridge
Wenceslas Square
The walking tour will be followed by a welcome dinner with a folklore performance.
It is my hope to blog for Kyle about his travels and post pictures, so that we can all following along on this amazing opportunity her has! We will miss him, but are mainly very excited for him.
A blog for sharing stories about our family and our many adventures both big and small.
