By Friday of our cabin trip, we were all cranky and sick of the heat. So, after the boys took a swim in the morning, we decided to pack up the cabin a day early and spend the last day/night of our trip at Kyle's parents house in the air conditioning. What was a wonderful break from the heat also turned out to be a place to ride out some serious storms as well. There was a lot of rain, wind, thunder etc. and there actually ended up being a tornado warning around Cable as well (where the cabin is). So, we were glad we were not at the cabin through the worst of it.
This picture is a picture of my car with a large piece of cardboard that Kyle's Dad had put over it to protect it from the hail.
