Taxes

A few weeks ago there was a news report on the evening news about the election. They put up a picture of Al Franken and Nate immediately said "Taxes?". We laughed like crazy because they were not talking about taxes, but apparently Nate has seen more than a few campaign commercials that link Al Franken and taxes. Now whenever we drive around town and he sees an Al Franken sign he says "Taxes!" Hmmm...wonder if all the money paid on campaign ads (for both parties) is truly meant to be spent marketing to 7 year-olds. Or is that the mentality they assume the voters are capable of?
