This weekend we drove down to Shell Lake, WI for a family wedding. Kyle's cousin got married, and it was SO good to visit with family. The reception was in Hayward, and we (Kyle, the boys and I, and Ryan, Serena and Sam) rented a cabin on Round Lake. Nate and Ben did very good sitting through the wedding, and waiting for dinner to start at the reception. They were tearing up the dance floor once the music started, and Ben once again picked up the flower girl. He has done this at the last few weddings we have been at :) Actually this time, she picked him up. The DJ announced it was time for the wedding party to dance, and she walked right over to Ben (who was not in the wedding party) took his hand and lead him to the dance floor. They were adorable, and the best dancers out there. Ben was even spinning her!
The picture of the boys being picked up....that is Kyle's cousin who is a cop. The boys were completely enthralled with him. When Nate saw this picture of my camera he said "Going to Jail!"
The cabin we stayed in was incredible, although we didn't get to spend much time in it. It was still nicer than a hotel room and it was nice that it had three bedrooms. The boys enjoyed waking up to a view of the lake and exploring down by the dock before packing up to head home. Everyone is a little worn out today, the boys were difficult to wake for school this morning. But nobody is probably more exhausted than Kyle who is traveling to Arkansas today.
