We have not taken the boys to see Santa ever because the only places to do it down here (in the city) are normally so crazy busy. But Ben asked one night to go see Santa, so we thought we would give the mall a try. We went on a weeknight thinking that would be our best bet. We put our name on the list and were told it would be about 45 minutes and were given a pager so we could walk the mall and it would go off when it was our turn (exactly like at a restaurant). So we walked the mall for awhile and an hour later went to see how much longer it would be. We were told it would be another 20 minutes and then we could get in line. I looked at the families in line and they all looked beat and thought no way. After waiting an hour and a half, and then probably waiting for another half an hour (at least) in line nobody was going to be in any mood to see Santa. So, we handed in our pager and left. Ben didn't ever say anything about it, but Nate asked. Luckily he was OK with it. On a positive note, I did get this great picture of Kyle and the boys sitting outside of Santa's cabin!
