With all the time Kyle and I have spend living in the UP, it is Nate who comes closest to being a "real" yooper. Yoopers are sensative about this type of thing...if you weren't born there you are not a real yooper no matter how long you have lived there. Nate was conceived there, and was very close to being born there. His true heritage was showing the other day when he chose this new winter hat. Of course he relates it to the hat that Arthur wears! But anyone who has spent anytime in the UP knows what kind of hat this really is! We should have put his flannel on before taking this picture as well!
