Ben had been very excited about trying archery in gym class. So much so it was all we heard about four 2 weeks. So when we found out the local archery club had a beginners class (for free. ...All equipment included) we signed up. We are a few weeks in now. ... and young kids who can't listen aside, he is enjoying it. He is also really really good at it. He tried a compound bow and on his first try. ...bullseye. He is so good, it didn't take long for one of the instructors to come find me and inform me that he is old enough to be on the school team. "And he is really good, and really coachable". Yes, we are aware he is able to be on the school team. ... but it conflicts with swim season and Ben chooses swimming. So he will learn the basics. ... we will likely get him a bow and there may be some bow hunting in the future for Ben and Kyke. In the meantime. .... More practice. Here are some pictures.
