The Buick was starting to need some work, and it had a lot of miles on it. We found ourselves making the decision of putting the money into it or getting a new car. When we heard there were deals in Toyota Highlanders, which is the car I have been thinking about for a few years now, we decided to go check one out. So we headed to the Duluth area, dropped off the boys at my Dad's house and made our way to Kari. After test driving it and loving it (or as far as the salesman knew "It's a pretty nice truck") we decided to go with the new vehicle. It has a ton if space for us, 4WD, and room in back for the dog. Nothing too fancy other than that (other than the hands free phone and bluetooth connection for all the music on my phone)....just a base model family SUV. It's the first new car I have ever had though (Kyle's had a couple), so that is fun for me. The color is officially "sizzling crimson mica". I call it maroon. Or as my dad calls it, "DM&IR red".
A blog for sharing stories about our family and our many adventures both big and small.
