Ben has added another Thunderhawks sports season to his schedule. This one seems totally doable, practice is only 2 nights a week. Luckily the high school band director is the junior high golf team coach, because he is allowing him to miss one of those nights so that he can still do orchestra. Other than the realization that there are some good 7th and 8th grade golfers in Grand Rapids and he is not the superstar...he has been enjoying himself. He has also had the opportunity to get to know some other classmates better (other than swimmers that is).
Now Kyle is not a big fan of golf. He kinda falls in the class of people who grow endlessly frustrated with chasing a little white ball into a small hole for a couple of hours. I on the other hand have always enjoyed golf, and am totally encouraging Ben's new endeavor liking the prospect of having a regular golf partner.
Nate has golfed for a few years now on the Special Olympics team. He falls somewhere in the middle. He likes the not so social aspect of golf (as opposed to the team aspect of floor hockey). He enjoys it...and is better than I ever thought he would be. But after about 3 or 5 holes he is done.
Miss Rowdy just really liked the huge box that Ben's new set of golf clubs came in.
