This spring had been slow to make an appearance. We are getting there slowly. The grass is getting green and longer. Kyle has even taken the lawn tractor to it once. We have spread grass seed on the dead areas in time for ANOTHER rainy week. We do have a couple bigger outside projects too. The kids have outgrown their big sand box and so we have moved it to a sunnier location in the yard and will be converting it to a greenhouse.
We also purchased a locally handmade picnic table for fun picnics in the yard and will be putting out some patio blocks to place it on. Now we just need the cold rainy weekdays to end. Kyle also got me the electric grill that I wanted for Mothers Day. I don't mind grilling with gas but this is so easy to use on a weeknight.
Next project: finish Ben's bedroom in the basement.
