Kyle has been in Australia for almost two weeks now. It is a business trip with a few days of vacation thrown in at the beginning. He got lucky on the way over and was upgraded to business class for the 16+ hour flight from LA to Sydney. We will see if that happens on the way home as well. It would make what will already be a LONG flight after being gone for two weeks, and even longer flight if he was stuck in coach.
His first few days were spent in Cairns. The first night in a hotel room:
The next two days were aboard the Rum Runner. They went out in the morning, and did 4 dives on the Great Barrier Reef the first day. After spending the night on the boat they did two additional dives before heading back to shore. Some highlights (yeah that last one is a shark)
He also had the opportunity to drive up the coast and explore the rainforest a bit:
His business was mostly done in Brisbane. Business went VERY well (this will likely not be his last trip to Australia), and went not working he got to explore the city a bit:
We will be glad to have him home! Next fall, a possible return to Australia, and a for sure trip to Chile:
