We had our last camping trip of the summer last weekend, as Kyle starts classes this coming weekend. We went to Onegume just north of Deer River, and were able to bring the boat with this time as well. Despite a rainy Sat, we had lots of outdoor fun on Sunday before returning home on Monday including fishing, swimming, and tubing. Here are some pictures from our latest camping trip:
This little clearing was at the back of our campground, the
perfect place to put the boat for the weekend.
This is the result of heavy rain all day Saturday...the camp fire wood is in danger.
Ben's bike was in danger as well!
When the rain finally quite, the boys got a little fishing from shore in.
Nate relaxing by the campfire
Ben playing with cars and army men in the screen tent
We finally got the boat out on Sunday. Here I am enjoying some sun while trolling across the lake.
We made our way from Little Cut Foot Sioux, to Cut Foot Sioux, to Winnie (the big lake). We didn't go too far out through, our little boat isn't made for that!
Four loons on the lake. We were able to get pretty close with the trolling motor because it is so quiet, but my camera on my phone doesn't zoom well.
There were also a million seagulls and pelicans on this sandbar at the entrance to Winnie.
Ben peeing over the side of the boat. I made this one bigger so that everyone can see the look on his face and how completely awesome he thinks this is!
And finally a picture of the boys swimming in the lake.

LOVE this! We hope to join you for a camping weekend next summer. The boys can show Fiona the ropes!
