Nate's newest war fascination in WWII. All very good, but just like the Civil War fascination we have some interesting "situations" that have come up. Being he is interested in WWII, he has watched many hours of news footage, video clips, documentaries, etc. As is not all that uncommon, he associates the Nazi party with WWII. Nothing terrible there. Except, that when telling Nate about the upcoming soldier camp and how he would learn to march, Nate demonstrated that he already knew how to march like a soldier. Yeah, like a NAZI soldier!!!! He also made an "About Me" book at camp the other day. He answered the question about where he wanted to visit by simply drawing a swastika. Yikes!
Nate better start marching like an American 1820s soldier soon, we will probably have to practice. Now I just need a whistle (ala Captain Van Trapp).
