We were up north for a family wedding last weekend. On Sunday we took a drive around Duluth before heading home. We ended up at the Lester River in east Duluth. It was very impressive due to the large amount of rain they had received recently. On our way home we decided to stop in Jay Cooke. If the Lester river was that neat, the the St Louis must be equally so. We were not disappointed. The ranger said there was more water flowing throught he dam than he has every remembered. Neither Kyle or I had ever seen the river so high and so angry! The boys loved it as well. If anyone has the opportunity to get to Jay Cooke in the next few days I highly suggest it!
